We went to the zoo a couple weeks ago. Thanks Aunt Carrie for the idea. The Abilene Zoo isn't anything to brag about. In fact, it is generally a bit of a disappointment. But we did get to see the "mingos", monkeys, "tutles", a bear, and the kids fed the giraffe crackers. Liam thought he'd be kind and make sure the crackers were still good. I think he decided to leave those animal crackers for the animals. It was seriously hot. Think 100+ heat with very little shade. But the kids still had a wonderful time.
