Naptime

Liam doesn't take naps on purpose. But every once in a while one will sneak in on him. And this happens.

But as you can see that's not very comfortable looking, even though the puddle under his mouth would prove otherwise. And if you sleep this way, you are in the range of your sister. And she is very likely to come by and poke you in the face and yell, "Bubby?! Bubby? Are you sleeping?"

So you have to adjust.

You can't have a Watermelon Festival without watermelon!

Watermelon Festival

We had to attend the Watermelon Festival again this year. Who can pass up big slices of watermelon and carnival rides in 100+ degree heat?! Not this family! We were all sweaty messes, but it was super fun. This was the first year we let Grace ride any of the rides. We very nearly couldn't get her off. But the giant slide was her favorite by far. Last year it was Liam's favorite. He wasn't interested in it at all. Or the Merry-Go-Round either. But he would get back on any of the car rides as if there wasn't a line.

Pool Party

Rainbow Girl (aka Brooke) had an after graduation pool party at her house. Actually, I don't think it was the same day as the graduation thing. I'm behind on this blogging thing and I've slept since then (or haven't, as Liam and Grace are up before the sun). It's summer kids!

I digress.

Pool Party!

So we loaded up the wagons and headed over to Brooke's after school one day. And it was wonderful. All Liam's girlfriends where there. Someday, I'll make friends with someone that has a little boy his age.

You see Liam managed to find a truck to man the party up a bit. I also like how the girls immediately cheesed when my friend asked, and Liam, while saying cheese, still managed to be a boy and act goofy.
